The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has now been revealed in production guise, and we have the first video of the new Aston in motion. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has been on its way for the best part of a year, from the reveal of the track version of the new Zagato at Villa D’Este through pictures and video of Zig and Zag on track and finally the first official pictures of the production version of the V12 Zagato last week. But now Aston Martin have finally revealed the V12 Zagato in Kuwait they’ve seen fit to release a video – sadly, a rather short video – of the V12 Zagato in action on the road.

Only a fool wandering around this week's Beijing motor show would still dismiss China as some also-ran automotive market full of rip-off designs and outdated ‘new’ cars based on old Western designs. While all of those clichés were still in evidence at the Chinese auto show, the copycat mentality is much less obvious than even a year ago at last year's Shanghai show. And every western car exec CAR spoke to was in awe of the upward sales trajectory that means China is still the place to do business in 2008.Yes, there are still some odd automotive fish, usually small ‘three-box’ saloon in shape such as the Chinese market only Citroen C-Elysee and the VW Lavida (a Jetta/Bora Plus car with less style).

The next stage of Fiat’s quest to make the Fiat 500 the world’s favourite retro-cute car hit the world’s biggest market this week. Yep, China got its first Fiat 500s. Now Fiat appears to have made the 500 the current car of choice for the urban trendy American car buyer (a friend in Los Angeles claims they’re proliferating in the trendy areas just like MINI did in London in the early days) it’s time to turn their attention to China, a market with far more potential.
